Biography
New colour to Sri Lankan and Global Music Industry revolutionizing a brand new flavor with their debut album Cross Culture comprising 14 songs with various themes to be released in the near future under Universal Music and the local records M-Entertainment. Cross Culture the debut album of Gajan and Dinesh communicates to the Tamil and English markets. Also the album speaks to masses in Sri Lanka with themes focusing on Cross Culture, youth, love, attitude, children & peace.
Gajan and Dinesh newest entry to the Sri Lankan and international music, will be the first due in Sri Lanka to release and Tamil Hip-hop and RNB album right after Gajans brother Krishan Mahesons Asian Avenue under Universal Music.

Enters the local music industry in 1998 with his brother Krishan Maheson and formed Urban Sound- ever-popular hip-hop band in Sri Lanka. Having won the Asian institute of broadcasting development awards in 2000 for the song “stop the virus” a campaign against aids/HIV makes a global appeal followed by winning “the excellent new singer” award at the 7th Asia singing competition in shanghai, china in 2004 proves Gajan's success to the international music arena. Apart from his music madness, Gajan is also a marketer in profession. He's a graduate from the chartered institute of marketing, UK. Combination of music and marketing has definitely connected Gajan Maheson to launch of cross culture project.

DINESH KANAGARATNAM

Born in 1981, Dinesh was educated in India and Sri Lanka, was always influenced by music and who wanted to achieve something on his very own in the industry. Unlike other musician and singers who were professionally trained, Dinesh never got a chance to accomplish his dreams in his younger age or not a professionally trained singer. But his interest and passion bought him up to a stage where he released his first singles with the well known faces in the Srilankan music industry known Bathiya n Santhush, which was a big turn over to his career in music. Sri Shyamalangan, well known and reputed music director, introduced Dinesh to the duo Bathiya n Santhush two years back where he started his career on that day onwards. His single ‘Naan Sonnal' with ‘BNS' was featured in the movie Hiri Podu Wesa sound track album. He was also featured in Krishnan's debut album ‘Asian Avenue'. Today Dinesh joins Gajan, former member of urban sounds, and they were been working on the album ‘cross culture' since last year.
